Concept
The boat is designed for the sailor who puts excellence first and knows that quality and quantity are two very different properties. We gathered all our resources to build the ultimate Club Racer.
The hull is the result of extensive CFD and VPP studies. The moderate beam and narrow static waterlines optimise upwind and downwind performance, whilst the rounded chine extending forward to the bow, the balanced volume distribution and high prismatic coefficent through all heel angles give the boat:
- ease of handling
- a comfortable dry ride in rougher seas
- exceptional offshore and reaching speed potential.
The light and stiff high tech boat structures are designed according to ISO 12 215 Category A and have been FEA optimized. High aspect ratio appendages and high ballast/displacement ratio combined with a generous sailplan and a light but easy to handle stable rig further boost the seaworthiness and performance of the yacht.
Below deck she accomodates a sporty crew of eight, four of whom sleep on pipe berths. The XL bath gives the crew big boat comfort on offshore races. The essential galley is equipped with a large fridge and food storage capabilities. A dedicated large, well equipped navigation station is given prime position directly accessible to crew members.
On deck the large cockpit, wide side decks and minimalistic deckhouse give the boat the GP racer look. This is emphasised by the oversized high quality and ergonomicaly positioned deck hardware which enable both a shorthanded crew and a full racing crew to achieve the boats maximum potential with ease and in safety.

Construction
Hull
Hull is built in sandwich construction of CARBON fibres and RED CEDAR core all laminated with EPOXY resin in vacuum conditions. Basic hull inner and outer skin laminate is ±30° and ±90° UD carbon.
Structure
structural elements are built in sandwich construction of carbon fibres and pvc core all laminated with epoxy resin in vacuum conditions, UD carbon caping and chainplates.
Deck
sandwich construction of carbon fibres and pvc core all laminated with epoxy resin in vacuum conditions-local UD carbon reinforcements.
Rig
carbon mast, complete ROD system standing rigging, carbon boom and spreaders, carbon bowsprit.
Rudder
Rudder stock is in carbon. The two piece rudder blade is built in glass epoxy, The stock foil assembly is in mould by epoxy foam infusion.
Keel
Keel structure is built in stainless steel. Keel foil is in glass epoxy. The structure foil assembly is in mould by epoxy foam infusion.
Bulb
Bulb is CNC machined lead-antimony with epoxy compound surface finish.
Structural design
The laminate plans for all the composite parts are designed according to the "ABS" loads and FEA optimized using "Nastran" software to achieve global and local structural balance and continuity through differential glass and carbon fibre weight and orientation.
Technology
Hull and deck are built using "Carbon epoxy Wet Layup Technology" in vacuum conditions and postcured in oven
Structural core
The core material for hull is lightweight wood (red cedar) – thickness 15mm.
The core material for deck and structural elements is "Airex". The core density (80-200 kg/m³) and thickness (10-25mm) are FEM optimized according to local construction loadings and core shear stress.
External finish
The deck and scoop walk upon surfaces are covered with high quality non skid film. The non skid film standard colour is clear.
FEM analysis
Complete structure calculations was done using Finite Element Analysis (FEM). At the most stressed areas the safety factor is nowhere less than 5:
